Scorecard on a trip to NYC

I took a trip to NYC several months ago. It was my second “Comedy Pilgrimage,” so I set out to do as many shows as I could, make some contacts and get a better feel for the city. It so happened that the trip also coincided with the New York Comedy Festival so I also hit some of those shows. On the whole, it was a great time and I’m glad I did it.

I could easily write way too much about it in one post, so I’m gonna try split it into a few smaller ones, but here’s the quick scorecard:

Gone:
– 6 Days

Performed:
– 4 Booked Shows
– 3 Open Mics

Attended
– 7 Pro Shows (the best ones were actually free)

Ate
– 4 Slices of Pizza
– 6 Empanadas
– 1 order of portabello fries
– 1 order of cheese burger wontons
– 3 Tacos
– bag of pizzeria combos
– Chicken Parm Wrap

– 1 Chai Tea
– 1 Maple Latte
– 1 Snickerdoodle Latte
– 1 Normal Coffee
– 6-7 beers

Street Harrassed:
– ZERO WOMEN

I’m not sure why you’d be interested in any of that info, but I’ve shared it nonetheless. More words on the specifics of the journey soon to follow…
